Ghaliya Parfums began in Sydney in 2026 with three friends and a shared passion for perfume. We travel through the Middle East as often as we can in search of fragrance, and every trip sends us home with new ideas.
We started Ghaliya for two simple reasons: we love fragrance, and we believe beautiful fragrance should be affordable, so everyone can enjoy it every day, not just on special occasions.
Why “Ghaliya”
Ghaliya (غالية) means “precious” in Arabic. The Middle East has one of the world’s oldest perfume traditions, carried on through the Ottoman era, when rosewater, musk, ambergris and oud scented palaces, places of worship and everyday life. In classical Arab and Ottoman perfumery, ghaliya was also the name of a treasured blend of musk and ambergris. We chose the name because a fragrance you love should feel precious, whatever it costs.
Our own formula, our own bottle
Every Ghaliya scent is openly inspired by a fragrance people already love. We study its character, then build it in our own formula and pour it into our own bottle. We name the inspiration so you can find your scent quickly, but we’re not affiliated with the original brands, and we never pretend to be them.
The range
Every scent comes as a 50 ml or 100 ml perfume, or as a 10 ml roll-on oil with the same scent as our perfume. Browse by scent family, occasion or season, or simply search for the fragrance you love.
